A Youth Wellness Program on Body Image, Social Media, and Mental Health
Coming Soon
Unfiltered is a youth-centered wellness program designed to help children and
adolescents build a healthier sense of self in a world shaped by social media,
comparison, filters, and constant online messaging.
Today’s young people are growing up with more pressure than ever to look a certain
way, present themselves perfectly, and measure their worth through likes, comments,
and online validation. Unfiltered creates a safe, inclusive space where youth can talk
honestly about body image, identity, mental health, social media, confidence, and
belonging.
Through interactive workshops, guided conversations, creative activities, and support
from trained professionals, participants will learn how to think critically about the
messages they see online, recognize unrealistic beauty standards, strengthen self-
esteem, and develop healthier coping skills.
This program is grounded in real experience and shaped by youth voices. We know that
meaningful wellness education cannot be limited to a single conversation. Unfiltered is
designed to provide earlier intervention, authentic representation, and ongoing
engagement that meets young people where they are.
Participants will explore topics such as:
- Body image and self-esteem
- Social media and comparison
- Digital literacy and online influence
- Mental health and emotional well-being
- Identity, belonging, and self-expression
- Coping skills and emotional regulation
- Healthy relationships with technology
- Confidence, kindness, and self-acceptance
The goal of Unfiltered is not to tell young people to simply “ignore social media” or “love
themselves” overnight. Instead, the program gives them tools, language, support, and
community so they can better understand themselves and navigate the digital world with
confidence.
Through Unfiltered, participants will be supported in developing:
- Increased self-esteem and self-awareness
- Stronger digital literacy and critical thinking skills
- Healthier relationships with social media
- Emotional regulation and coping strategies
- A greater sense of belonging, support, and connection
At its heart, Unfiltered is about helping young people see themselves clearly, beyond
the filters, beyond comparison, and beyond unrealistic expectations.
Real conversations. Real confidence. Real connection.
